It's an upgraded version of the classic controller. Nintendo made this much like the Sony's DualShock controller, with the shoulder button's being placed in the same way. The pad is compatible with the current Wii Remote. The new Classic Pro Controller will be available in Japan this June, but no word yet as to when this will be available in the American and European markets. The reason Nintendo is releasing this could be because Nintendo is setting us up for more traditionally played games that require the pad much like the N64 games.
